Castor oil is a multipurpose vegetable oil that people have used for thousands of years. It is made by extracting oil from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant, a plant native to tropical areas of Africa and Asia. Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid.

External use:
Apply to affected area of skin, massage gently and allow to penetrate.
Internal use:
Adults: Take 15-30 mL (1-2 tablespoons) daily.
Warnings:
Always read the label, use only as directed. Keep out of reach of children.
Please consult your physician before consuming castor oil during pregnancy. Do NOT use when you have abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence.
