The 'Promoter' of Chemistworks 'Scratch for Gold' Campaign 2025 (the "Promotion") is Chemistworks Management PTY LTD (ABN 12 001 237 029) of Suite 1, 70 Jellicoe Street, Lidcombe NSW 2141. 

Instructions on eligibility and mechanics of prize redemption form part of these Terms and Conditions. 

Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, GHD, BridgeClimb, Apple, Flight Centre or Michael Hill.  

Conditions Of Eligibility

An entrant must meet all of the following conditions of eligibility:

Must be a NSW resident aged 18 years and over at the time of entry, and remain a NSW resident for the duration of the Promotional Period. Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate or franchisees, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion or who have influence over the allocation of rewards are ineligible to participate in this promotion. Immediate family means the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grand-parent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. 

For every $50 spent in-store or online, a Scratch for Gold Card is awarded. Spend excludes prescriptions, pharmacist only medication, cold and flu, medicine and treatment products, baby formula, sale gift cards, and services. Other exclusions may apply. As a condition of entering this promotion and in the event an entrant is a prize winner, an Entrant consents to the Promoter using the entrant's name and locality for media use for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing. 

Key Dates 

The Promotion starts at 12.00am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 11/12/2025 and ends at 11:59pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 24/12/2025 or until Scratch For Gold Card stocks run out, whichever comes first ("Promotional Period"). The redemption of prizes starts at 12.01am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 11/12/2025 and ends at 11:59pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 24/12/2025. 

Second chance draw prize will be drawn at 10.30am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 24/12/2025. The winner will be contacted the same day, and the prize will be dispatched by close of business.

Prize Redemption

In the event that an Entrant is awarded a major prize, they are required to contact the Promoter, Chemistworks Management, via email at [email protected] and provide photo proof of purchase amounting to $50 or more, either in-store or online during the 'Promotional Period', along with the winning Scratch for Gold card. Upon verification and approval by Chemistworks Management 'Promoter', the prize will be issued via email.  

In the event that an Entrant wins a $5 Chemistworks voucher, the Scratch for Gold card itself will serve as the voucher. This voucher is only redeemable on the Entrant's next purchase in-store and must be presented at the time of the transaction. If an Entrant wishes to exchange the physical voucher for on online voucher, they can email [email protected] to arrange this. If the purchase exceeds the voucher amount, the balance must be paid by other available payment options. Voucher is not redeemable for cash. Voucher is to be used in one transaction. Voucher can not be redeemed on prescriptions, pharmacist only medication, cold and flu, medicine and treatment products, baby formula, sale gift cards, and services. Other exclusions may apply.

In the event that an Entrant is awarded a Second Chance Draw, they may submit their name, phone number and email address by visiting www.chemistworks.com.au/scratch. In the event that an Entrant is the winner of the second chance draw, they will be contacted via phone and email. If the winner does not respond within 2 hours, a new winner will be drawn. Second Chance Draw prize will be issued via post. Chemistworks is not responsible for the delay or loss of any parcels via postage.

Prize Pool

Prizes will be represented as pots of gold. The number of pots of gold scratched correlates to the prize won. The prizes are as follows:

MINOR PRIZE

1 Pot of Gold = $5 Chemistworks In-store Voucher 

MAJOR PRIZES

2 Pots of Gold = GHD Gold Professional Styler

3 Pots of Gold = $700 Bridge Climb Sydney Voucher

4 Pots of Gold = Apple AirPods Max (Starlight)

5 Pots of Gold = $1000 Flight Centre Voucher

6 Pots of Gold = $2000 Michael Hill Voucher

The total prize pool is valued at $9999. Major prizes include a; $2000 Michael Hill Voucher, $1000 Flight Centre Voucher, Airpod Max in "Starlight" valued at $999, $700 Bridge Climb voucher, GHD Gold Professional Styler valued at $350. Minor prizes includes 950 $5 Chemistworks vouchers ($4750 worth of vouchers). Second Chance Draw prize includes 10 Hoyts movie tickets valued at $200.

Disclaimers

The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that if the prize or promotion prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to NSW state legislation

The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an Entrant, claiming to be a winner, is unable to satisfy the terms or has breached the terms. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the promoter's ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same condition. Chemistworks Management PTY LTD 'Promoter' and affiliates will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration of security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
