AERIUS for Children Syrup (Desloratadine 2.5mg/5mL) offers multi-symptom allergy relief and is suitable from 6 months of age for hives and from 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis. It comes in a yummy bubblegum flavour which makes it easy to administer to children and a dosing syringe to measure the right dosage for babies as young as 6 months.
AERIUS for Children provides fast and effective relief from seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms, without causing drowsiness. A single dose of AERIUS for Children provides 24 hours of allergy relief from symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, runny/itchy nose, itchy/ watery eyes and itchy palate. AERIUS for Children also provides effective relief of allergic skin conditions, such as itchy skin and hives.
AERIUS for Children contains the active ingredient desloratadine 2.5mg per 5mL.
Dosage
Suitable for children from 6 months of age for hives and from 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis.
For Allergic Rhinitis
1 to 5 years 2.5 mL daily
6 to 11 years 5 mL daily
12 years and over 10 mL daily
Do not give to children under 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
For Hives
6 to 11 months 2.0 mL daily
1 to 5 years 2.5 mL daily
6 to 11 years 5 mL daily
12 years and over 10 mL daily
Not to be used in children under 6 months of age.

Do not use this product for allergic rhinitis in children less than 12 months of age. for hives in children less than 6 months of age. if the ring is separated from the cap.
